H-Mail

Now in Late Development.  A Skype/Email gateway.  
  • Skype2Email:  Skype users can send email to anyone
  • Email2Skype:  Email users can reply to those Skype users

H-mail is one of several Aaytch services run by Aaytch's robots using Skype. 

There is no software to download. Signup is automatic when you send your first H-mail message.  If you already have Skype, click [button not here yet] to be connected to a robot.


Just include at least one email address anywhere in your message formatted as: "To: emailAddress."  In the same way, create the subject of the email with "Subject: some text up to 75 characters."  Your Skype message therefore might look like this:

Hi John.  I'm writing you to tell you about H-Mail, for messaging between Skype and email.  By sending you this message, I am authorizing you to reply to me through the Skype/email gateway.  Since I'm using Skype more than email these days, it should make it easier for us to stay in touch as technology moves on.  Sincerely, Sam

  • OTHER  COMMANDS:  
    • You can get your current Aaytch credit balance by sending the Aaytch robot this message: "#balance" (no quote marks)
    • Aaytch allows only email addresses that you authorize to send you email.   You authorize an email address by simply sending someone an email as in the instructions above.  You can get a list of your current approvals by sending the Aaytch robot this message: "#approvals" (without quote marks)
    • You can remove an email address from the approvals list by sending the Aaytch robot this message:  "#kick thisaddress".
